In The Heat of An Argument

In the heat of an argument..

In the heat of an argument...
I can feel your heart beat next to me!!!

In the heat of an argument:
Your eyes are blood shot red and you burn with anger,
Rage boils up inside of you!
Your pupils dilate,
And stare right into mine
Almost as if to see right through me...

Tears seem to want to burst,
But are kept inside, with the potential energy to curl into a thunderstorm...

In the heat of an argument:
Blood pushes,
 To catch up with your breathing,
You pant with rage:
Enough to tear up a strong love.

Sanity does not prevail ,
A heartbreak is imminent...
A break up is probable,
A compromise- unreachable
A hurt soul- inevitable...

Empathy is lost,
Manners are made a history lesson in the past.

Glasses fall down and  shatter into thousands of pieces...

An instrument of love loses its notes
lying broken on the ground...

All of this
In the heat of an argument

Traumatic Quest: Love or Death

The trauma was severe...

She held his torso, her hands were bloody;
Holding onto his last life.

Watching breathelessly as each drop of blood,
Took away his heart beat...

And as her heart beat,
She could see his his heart leave...

A choice between love and death,
She let go.

This story would not have a happy ending.
Without a heartbeat, yet her hearts tormenting:
If she should let her own heart beat;

Became a relentless question
Recurring in her head...

                                                     Love or death?

These words...

These words we say...
Statements we make,

Leave paper trials,
And distinct scents.

Imprinted in the filters of our heads,
Better lying unsaid.

Words better kept,
Rather unsaid.

Actions kept to script,
Rather than acted out on stage.

Comments better never pasted,
Message un-typed, letters unread.

Voices never pledged,
And words better unsaid.

Only filled with regret,
Left to learn only from this mistake.

Left to learn from what I said,

These words we say, are better left unsaid!!!

It's This Silence...

As I walked in...

I did not feel:

Welcome ululation,

Or whispers of gossip-
That would ferry me from the portal
To the chair i wished to sit on.
Just silence...
Silence never heard before.
Its this silence that embraced me.
An improper substitute;
Lacking substance, reality or fibre-
In any emotional proof!
Camouflaged, hidden
Lacing the truth
***Just Silence ***
Without a glimpse of who is fooling who
Dealing with the old
Fusing with the new
Encircled around reality-
***This silence***
Subtracted myths,
To make truth the jewel!
***This silence***
Demystified mysteries,
So they could mysteriously create new mysteries...
Its this same silence
That mocked the truth by deception;
That took a ride on gossips effigy;
***Its this silence***

That ferried to my seat;
That welcomed me.
***Its this silence***
That you hear;
That I write;
That you read
***Its this silence***
That we live by
And never let those that matter know how much they mean to us.
So much said
Without a whisper made

Tomorrow By Chris Mlalazi

"Tomorrow"

We want to live...
In a tomorrow;
Where our past
Can be looked at with pride,
And not the shame
Of rotting corpses behind bushes,
Raped mothers,
traumatized orphans
and brothers and sisters
skedaddling all over the world in terror

Of an uncertain future.

Taste in Music

I have such a good taste in music...
Every time my thoughts speak
My tongue spits lyrics!!!

Sometimes my heart sings -
To  its beats' instrumental

But this song pumps through without vocals,
But this song plays in my head so its mental

But this song carries me on,
So now I call it "Special"

Like life -
Like my love life's right
It's life - like so in turn I love life
When the melody is produced by notes struck right!!!

Fluid rhythms from a  set piece
Brass and strings
Percussion and woodwind
Harmonies,
Harmoniously produced in harmony,
By harmonicas
Played by the brunette from across the street Lisa Monica

Hello
Flutes sound so mellow
Bright days and daisies yellow
Reminders and real tests of mettle
As hard as a bow on a cello
While you go high on my poems like stilettos
Painting Bulawayo with words from burbs to the ghetto

Charming pieces of music in me
Possessing elements of Mozart earnestly
My palms are annotated with notations
Of half notes and sixteen quotes
That's why I communicate my passion
Through all these blogger posts:

Music is the race
So I play the sport

Music is the race,
So I carry the torch
